Captain's Caribbean Calendar - APRIL

On the tip of Water Island, just 1000 ft. from where McGregor's mooring lies, we found a one acre piece of property that included 280' of waterfront.

We were enchanted by the possibilities of this "structure" and 9 days before Hurricane Irma hit, we closed on Sprat 7.

When we returned to the VI after the hurricane and saw the enormous damage to McGregor, we started bringing some of our possessions to Sprat. Equipped with our tent, solar generator, and a water catching system, we lived in this Shangi La for 2 months.

This past October we found a new boat, McGregor III. Now living back on our mooring, we have been chartering and working on the property. Anxiously awaiting plans and permits, they are finally coming through. Our thoughts are to add a 2nd level and make a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom vacation home. We are so excited to share this with friends and family! We'll keep you updated with photos and progress.

Captain Caribbean Calendar - 2018

It has been a wild ride since Hurricane Irma took our beloved McGregor II in Sept. of 2017!!
Last season we worked on an 83’ Ferretti based in the Virgin Islands. We then took a summer job on a private yacht, a 103’ Broward.

It was based out of Vancouver Island and we cruised the Inside Passage until August.

October found us back in Ft Lauderdale, where we are happy to say that we found our new boat, McGregor III. She is a beautiful 2001 60’ Jefferson Motor Yacht and is layed out very similar to Greggie.
After a 1200 mile delivery from Florida,

we are back in St Thomas, living once again on our mooring off Water Island. Needless to say, it is GREAT to be back!!!
